New Recurring Post Series: Advice for Minions

When I started this blog I was worried I would run out of ideas and not be able to keep it going. Happily, more than half a year later and I’m still posting away. I know I’ve been enjoying it and I hope you have too.

One aspect I’ve noticed about other blogs is they often have recurring posts around a theme or as part of a series. For a while now I’ve thought that was something I would like to do as well. That’s right, I’ve finally thought of a recurring blog post theme for this old blog of mine.

I have decided to have a weekly (hopefully) posting series geared to advice for minions in any field, not just HR. As an HR Minion, I feel that I’m in a good position, not only because I understand the minion mindset and challenges, but as an HR professional I understand how organizations function in a way that minions in different fields would not be exposed to.

I know there are a lot of minions out there and I would like to explore the ways we can all be the best minions we can be. Touchy-feely? Not really. I think deep down everyone wants to succeed in their job, no matter their place in an organization. Funny? I hope so. Useful? That’s the plan. And no worries, I’ll still be posting away on various HR topics. After all, that’s why I started this blog in the first place.
