… the HR Minion. Because even minions have opinions. And giggles.

I’m Certified , Baby!

This last month I’ve been fairly stressed out about taking the PHR test so it’s not surprising that I almost cried in relief when I got this:

I don’t know what I would do if I had to wait a few weeks for the results. As it was I resented taking the survey at the end of the test before knowing my results. Thanks to everyone for their great support, your encouragement means a lot to me! Special thanks to Craig Hartman for sending me copies of his notes and Ben of Upstart HR for his PHR Study Series book (I wish I got this earlier, it’s a nice breakdown of how to prepare for the test).

In other good news, I was selected as one of the Top 50 HR blogs to watch in 2009! You may notice the cool new badge on the right. Crazy awesome and I hope I live up to everyone’s expectations!

Well, my brain is fried now and all I want to do is relax. Relax, and not think about union stuff or employment law for a while. Relax, not think about stuff, and grab a drink. Have a great weekend everyone!!

Congrats! Kick back and relax…you deserve it.

Then get ready to learn the rules of recertification (so you never have to take the test again!)

You=Awesome (certifiably so!) Thanks for the shout out! If I’d realized that you were already counting the hours, I would have given you a few last-minute tips. 🙂 It didn’t matter in the long run, though, because you kicked tail. Carry on, little lady!
