HR Happy Hour #10
Another HR Happy Hour is in the can and it was a special one that Steve and I had to put together. Not only because we had some amazing guests (and hosts!) and a lively conversation, it was a special Job Seekers Show! It is hard out there right now but there are resources and great information available as well.
Our amazing guests & callers covered a lot of ground tonight, from resumes & cover letters, networking, career & resume coaches, stalker candidates, and why job seekers ultimately need to take ownership over their job search in order to succeed. There’s a lot of great information in just one show and we only just scratched the surface. We may need to do another one. Check it out below:
As always, be sure to check out the #HRHappyHour conversation on Twitter. If you don’t, it’s like eating an ice cream sundae without whipped cream and a cherry on top.

What a lively show tonight! I think we broke the record for callers and tweets. I think we definitely need to do a follow up soon. Great job!

This was the first time I was able to listen in, and I found it pretty useful. I have been reading many of the tweets and blogs of this group, and so hearing them trade ideas and build on comments in real time was great.
What caught my ear the most: the conversation about boomers where everyone used the pronoun "they". I am more used to being in conversation where there are more boomers present and we say "we"!
Keep up the good work!

Steve – You know, we could probably do an entirely separate podcast series just on this topic! It was a lot of fun.
Tim – I'm glad you liked it! Feel free to call in sometime!
