HR Happy Hour #23
The latest HR Happy Hour is in the can and for this show we decided to look into the future, all the way to the year 2010. What will the new year bring, what do we have to look forward to, what will be the new challenges, etc. In general, people seem to be either optimistic or cautiously optimistic about 2010 and we even coined a new word on the show: Stelznerd. Stelznerd is what happens when you ask such a good question to a group that they go silent. It’s named after the ever influential Mark Stelzner who, if you’ve ever been lucky enough to hear him speak, is the master of asking the tough, silence-inducing, and thought-provoking questions. I encourage you to use stelznerd frequently so we can get it into the common vernacular. We will be taking next Thursday off for Christmas Eve but don’t worry, we won’t be abandoning you completely over the holidays. We will be back on New Year’s Eve for a very relaxed, shooting the breeze kind of show. Will you be there?
