HR Happy Hour #47
So, before I get into the awesomeness that was the last HR Happy Hour show, and it was full of awesomeness, I would like to take a moment and share a celebratory cookie with you. You see, this last Thursday was the 1 year anniversary of the HR Happy Hour!! Can you believe it? I can’t! But what a year it has been. We’ve had some awesome shows, great guests, and an unbelievable amount of support from all of you out there! Steve and I cannot express how much we appreciate you all and hope for your continued support. You are why we do this and you are what makes this fun! Here’s to another year! Cheers!!

But never mind all that, back to the awesomeness at hand! Episode #47 is in the can and it was a really interesting one! We were talking Indie culture and how it related to HR! No, really and it totally worked too! Joining us was Kaya Oakes, author of Slanted and Enchanted: The Evolution of Indie Culture, and it was a great conversation! Sometimes we need to step out of the so-called “echo chamber” and approach our field in a different way and that’s why I think these types of shows are so great.
