That’s right, the minion is in San Diego and is roaming the halls of the convention center, albeit slowly cause man, these shoes are cute but not comfortable. The story of how I suddenly and oh so last minute ended up getting into the convention is both long and involves the judicious application of puppy dog eyes. Needless to say, I am here and totally freeloading off of the SHRM Blog Squad. I like to call myself their roadie, but “groupie living off their reflected glory” may be more appropriate. Whatever, dudes.

This is the first time I have attended SHRM’s Annual Conference and so far it has been quite the experience. 11,000 people, hanging with my awesome #BFF April, free swag, and some really cool people that for some reason don’t run away when they see me and Gir. Anyway, the point is, If you are also at here I would love to meet you so please feel free to ping me or stop me if you see me limping around. And please look forward to a post later in the week summing up all the vast HR knowledge I did or did not manage to soak up while here.
