Minion in Training
It’s official. Today, our HR team at work got an intern and I get to “manage” them. It’s super exciting. A minion being trusted with a minion in training. Oh my. If they someday take over the world with a force of genetically mutated otters I can say I helped influence them towards a successful life of being an evil genius. That is both an awesome and heavy burden.
I’ve never managed anyone before. I don’t call myself a minion for nothing after all. To be honest, I’ve never seen myself in any kind of people manager role. And I know it’s only for one semester and it’s not that I’ve never advised High School and College students before. But I still want to do my best and this is a responsibility I take seriously.
