Today is an important day for me, even though 5 years ago I could have never imagined how much. Blogging: It’s been a trip people. I don’t know what to say to express all the great things that have come into my life except thank you. Yes, you. All of you. You are why I do what I do. I started blogging as a way to reach out to a community. I not only got to join such a great community, I made dear friends, grew as a professional, and had some amazing opportunities.

I know blogging and social media can become like a job unto itself. It takes time, effort, and creativity. And some days, I don’t feel like I have any of that to spare. But 5 years later and I don’t regret anything I have put into this blog. I blog because I find I need an outlet for my thoughts, frustrations, and creativity. I feel I have become a better writer at the same time I’ve become a better HR professional.

So today, I do a little happy dance and celebrate 5 years of blogging fun. Big hugs to all of you who have joined me along the way. Thank you all!
